The NJ Firemen’s Memorial Parade invites High School and Fire Company Marching bands, Drum and Bugle Corps, Fife Corps, and Bell Trumpet Corps and all types of bands to participate in the NJ Fire Expo’s 2024 Memorial Parade, taking place Saturday, September 14.
All participating bands will receive a $1,500 stipend at the conclusion of the parade. The judged parade will also award cash prizes and trophies in select categories, and participation is FREE!
Since 1975, Wildwood has hosted this cherished tradition, originally conceived to unite fire departments statewide. Transitioning to a Memorial Parade in 2002, the parade has been an event to honor our fallen firefighters. The parade is held rain or shine.
Bands can register for the NJ Firemen’s Memorial Parade now and learn more at https://www.njfireexpo.com/memorial-parade. Ed Beck, New Jersey Firemen’s Parade Chair will provide a confirmation.
Don’t miss this opportunity to be a part of history and earn a $1,500 stipend. The parade starts at 2 p.m. along New Jersey Avenue, from Cresse Avenue in Wildwood Crest to 22nd Street in North Wildwood.
